Not a fan of American policies but I have many American friends and you are good people. Good to see peaceful protest.We had one against corruption. You can also add hunger strike to your methods. Mahatma Gandhi taught us peaceful protest, hunger strike and mass non cooperation as peaceful tools against oppression. He managed to bring down the hostile and foreign British Empire to its knees. There is no reason you cannot win against your own government. Never loose hope. It takes long but it succeeds better then violence.
